Summary[]
Myamu can no longer speak!? Confused about this, Matsuri asks for help from Matsurida. However, Matsurida nodded to her and explained that if Myamu truly wished to be able to speak again, she should be able to. With no idea on how to fix Myamu, Matsuri worries that Myamu has grown tired of her because she is not good enough. Toma tries to cheer up Matsuri, who is feeling down. Meanwhile, Myamu was being lectured by Chimumu, who says that this is not like her. Matsuri and Myamu each took a visit to the Prism Stone Shop, the place where they met, as though they were regaining their feelings from the beginning.
Synopsis[]
Myamu has lost the ability to speak and she's stuck in cat form. As Matsuri causes an uproar she is visited by Lemon and Miruki, who wanted to see how she was doing following her defeat to Hina. Miruki is delighted to see Toma again as they step into the candy shop portion of her home- but Matsuri quickly forces the girls to visit Prism Stone with her to find out what happened. Matsurida gives her a check-up but she has no idea what the issue can be. She can't use magic to make her better, but if she truly wishes to return to normal then she should; in theory.
Meanwhile, at Omega Corp a discussion is held regarding the dress that was meant to be presented to the winner of the recent Flower Area competition. The winner, Amane gains little attention from them however, more focused on Matsuri's recent spike in waccha level and then its dissipation. Nobody really knows what happened, so Auru is instructed to keep looking into it.
Toma sees Myamu walk by and he joins her in the living room. He promises not to say anything regarding her identity while petting her. Outside, Matsuri gives some candy to Miruki and Lemon for spending time with her earlier. As Miruki begins to eat it she reveals that if Matsuri manages to obtain a rare coord she can still get a spot for herself in the exhibition- then she teases her and takes off. Lemon wishes Matsuri luck and leaves as well.
The next day Matsuri leaves for school after saying farewell to Myamu. Toma impatiently waits for her, worried over her well-being when he's suddenly startled by Hughie, and he decides to confide in him since he knows a lot about Prinagi. He asks what he can do to help Matsuri and Hughie goes on to tell him about a magic even non-magic users have; and by being courageous and taking that first step, Magi is born. Hughie leaves the same way he appeared and Toma worriedly observes before he begins to consider what he said.
Hina is playing basketball while chatting with Amane regarding her recent win. After overhearing Matsuri following her loss and how torn up she was over it, she couldn't face her now. It makes her wonder if she should have said or done something, or if she messed up, leading Amane to remind her that above all else, she was only doing her job as a PriMagi Star. Hina agrees with this, acknowledging that she had to do her best for the performance; which is why she was so fond of Matsuri's as well.
Chimumu pays Myamu a visit and starts by mocking her for her predicament. Myamu gets frustrated, but Chimumu is capable of telling how she feels, and she recalls how badly she felt for Hina when she lost to Jennifer. Chimumu goes on to bring up how lonely Myamu looked back at the Academy, but now she always looks so happy. She shouldn't give up on a friend who helped her shine so brightly.
Toma pays Matsuri a visit during break and she puts on a smile for him while apologizing for how upset she got. Toma sees through it and remarks that she shouldn't be, because she was really cool on stage and did well. Matsuri doesn't agree, and she begins to cry again as she recalls how scared she got. More than anything she wanted to be on stage, shining the way Hina and Lemon did, and she thought that she was ready for it. Toma manages to convince Matsuri to snap out of her depression by telling her that he loves to see her perform because she's so happy on stage and he feels encouraged watching her; her Magi that makes him feel like he can do his best.
Matsuri and Myamu both arrive at Prism Stone and are surprised to see each other. They head off to talk, and Matsuri apologizes for moping so much. Myamu tries to comfort her, but as she cant speak, she hops up to lick her cheek. Myamu then tries to force herself to speak, and she slowly begins to form fragmented sentences until she can ask Matsuri to perform with her again. Matsuri embraces her and tells her that she wants to perform with her again, and suddenly, magic begins to flow from her cat hair ornament and within a flash Myamu has returned to normal. They begin to cry and Matsuri apologizes again, but Myamu tells her it doesn't matter. But she's unable to speak her mind, instead choosing to hug Matsuri and tell her that regardless of what happens, they have each other and she doesn't plan on leaving her side because they are friends. They hated the way losing felt, but they love Primagi so much that neither of them want to stop, making a vow to aim to the top together.
Matsuri is able to get a performance together and everyone shows up to see it. Both girls are serious in doing their best and Myamu wants to help Matsuri in the way only she can. Matsuri rises and puts on her performance, unknowingly being watched by Auru and Meganee. Myamu is delighted as she observes Matsuri's Magi beginning to shine through, and she goes on with Matsuri to perform PriMagi Illusion. To everyone's amazement she manages to gain the wings she failed to manifest last time, and in the process she awakens the dress from the competition. She bursts free from the cage and joins Matsuri on stage, presenting her with the rare coord, Heart Feather, which she instantly changes into while finishing the performance. The announcer goes on to reveal that because of this, she has gained a spot in the top five. He goes on to reveal that these girls will be participating in a special training camp, much to their surprise.
Matsuri an Myamu leave Prism Stone overflowing with energy over their success. Myamu asks that because of their friendship, Matsuri stop referring to her as "Myamu-chan" when Jennifer comes by to see her. Matsuri reveals that she has discovered what PriMagi means to her; it is a special party that she wants to share with everyone. Feelings of excitement or tears of frustration. Everything that comes with it. She put her entire heart into it and she can smile because of that. Myamu summons her broom and they take off into the sky as the sun begins to set.
