Summary[]

Hina, who's primary goal is to defeat Jennifer, arrives at the Fresh Festival in tip-top condition. Matsuri, who had been training with the goal of participating in the exhibition, was well prepared, although a little bit nervous. The two encourage one another to do their best in Primagi. The Star Area's Fresh Festival begins with great success. However, the audience was shocked by the declaration that was issued following the opening statement. Shocking everyone, Jennifer decides to withdraw from this year's Grand Festival. Hina is now unable to accomplish her goal since Jennifer is not competing, and in desperation, injures her leg in a reckless warm-up......

Synopsis[]

Hina stands with Jennifer on stage, but as everyone cheers for her and she begins to float higher up. Hina reaches for her but she goes unnoticed. Just then, she awakens to realize she was having a dream.

Meanwhile, Matsuri is going on an early jog convinced that she isn't doing enough to compete with someone like Hina. On top of being in peak physical condition, she's an excellent model for an amazing brand. Myamu attempts to convince Matsuri to stop worrying and assures her that everything will be fine, because she has her magic on her side. Matsuri stops for a moment and begins to smile. But she is left thinking about what Jennifer said the day before, when she asked her what Primagi meant to her.

On the mountain-side, Hina stands with Chimumu while admiring the sunrise in the distance. She's done everything she could up until this point and she is confident in herself, all that's left is for now is to take that jump.

The performers and fans arrive to Prism Stone as its announced FreshFest will begin soon. Matsuri is beginning to lose confidence, which gradually grows as she overhears some girls chatting nearby. One remarks on Hina's predicted win, but another mentions that Matsuri gained a huge fanbase- and because Miruki dropped out, its pretty much become a duel between the two of them. The girls go on to review a magazine interview Hina recently had, in which she explains that this is her final attempt for the Grand Festival, so she plans to give it everything she can. Matsuri recalls her time training with Hina and she takes to heart her full seriousness and determination.

As this is going on, Toma is busy at the candy shop trying to make a good cat lollipop. Matsuri's grandpa isn't very happy with his recent works, but he brings up that he must leave soon to be Matsuri's support. Toma refuses and insists they keep working. Meanwhile, Miruki watches as everyone files into the performance hall and expresses remorse over dropping out. But she still plans on giving it her all for the Grand Festival, knowing she doesn't need this in order to get there. Lemon feels nervous but she really wants to see the girls perform, and Carron helps to calm her down. FreshFest begins and the announcer reveals the lovely coord today's winner will win.

Out in a hallway Myamu notes Matsuri seems shaken, but she assures her that its nothing as Hina joins them. She remarks on how tense she looks and admits she too is nervous, but when Matsuri reveals what happened with Jennifer, Hina is able to calm her down by recalling what she told her back when they were training together. Even though it was tough she had a lot of fun, and that's why she wants to keep performing. Matsuri plans on giving a performance that wont leave her with regrets, even if she loses. While Hina supports this, she does point out that she will have regrets if she was to lose. She takes off to do some warm-ups before its her turn, but she bumps into Amane, who witnessed their chat.

It's then Jennifer appears on the monitors in order to make an important announcement: this year she has decided not to compete in the Grand Festival. Everyone is shocked by her words and she goes on to apologize, mentioning that she did plan on it originally because she won last year- but she's come to decision to travel oversea to further her career instead. Instead she will be sending her love to everyone who will be performing and hopes they can forgive her.

Hina is distraught by the news, while Chimumu remarks that the win is guaranteed to be hers now. Hina puts on a smile and tells Amane that she still plans on putting an amazing performance though, because she has to for everyone who believes in her and supports her. Amane doesn't seem convinced by her words and she asks Hina how long she plans on holding onto this burden. Hina responds and takes off, perturbed by the news as she begins to train. She becomes blinded with anger and while performing a risky jump, she lands improperly and hurts her ankle. She insists she is fine but Chimumu is worried for her, and they return inside as FreshFest is about to begin. Matsurida instantly rushes to her side noticing how disheveled she looks, but once again Hina insists its nothing serious. She warns Hina not to overexert herself, an even Chimumu thinks its a poor idea. He begins to worry about her and while he isn't sure its a good idea for her to go on, Hina refuses to drop out now. She changes into her chosen coord and appears on stage to perform, and as everyone cheers for her Hina is in a lot of pain. She forces herself to get over it and arrives on stage, then she puts on her performance. But everyone realizes something is wrong when she attempts to prepare for her jump, but with Chimu's encouragement she pulls out an amazing back-up choreography in place of her jump and is able to save her performance. The excitement from the crowd causes a flame to burst up throughout her performance, and as she concludes everyone applauds for her. Jennifer compliments Hina, saying that while it was flawed and improvised she still did an amazing job.

In another room, Hina is sitting as she relaxes from her straining performance. Chimumu joins her and she thanks him for being so supportive of her, and she goes on to reveal that she got a perfect score.

In the hallway Toma shows up in time for Matsuri's turn. He hands over a cheering cat lollipop that he made to show support for her, saying that he put his whole heart into it and he expects her to do the same. She remembers when Hina told her that instead of following in someone's footsteps she should aim to surpass them, which gives Matsuri the courage to keep going.
