The Downright Merry☆Meowgnificent☆Magical Realm is the 7th episode of the Waccha Primagi! anime. It aired in Japan on TV Tokyo on November 14, 2021.
Summary[]
At Lemon's welcome party, Myamu gets carried away and lets her magic run wild. With Nyanjii's help, she manages to stop her magic, but she is sent to the magical realm with Matsuri and Lemon. Matsuri and Lemon are very excited to see the magic realm for the first time. On the other hand, Myamu has a fight with Nyanjii and runs away. Worried about Myamu, Matsuri chases after her. Lemon, who was left behind, felt awkward being with Nyanjii by herself, but she and Nyanjii cleaned up the messy room. While cleaning up, Lemon spots something resembling an album, but Nyanjii rushes to put it away at the back of a shelf. When Lemon finds out, she makes a bold move!
Plot[]
One day outside of Prism Stone, Hina arrives to find Amane waiting for her. She apologizes for keeping her waiting but her cool response earns her praise afterwards, and they prepare to head inside until they notice a sparking magic portal above the shop. They rush inside out of concern, just as Toma happens to jog by to see Matsuri, Myamu and Lemon floating through it, along with Hughie.
The trio land just outside of Myamu's grandpa's house and while the others look around she attempts to make an escape. But he catches her and forces her back. Matsuri and Lemon quickly deduce they have been brought into the magic realm and he leads them inside. While Myamu doesn't really care, her friends are excited. Her grandpa goes on to ask what happened, leading the girls to recall their welcome party they held for Lemon earlier. Lemon was awestruck over Miruki -who thought of her as very awkward- while Myamu was trying to use magic to bring some of the sweets to her, but when things began to go south she panicked until everything was flying around and somehow a magic portal kicked up, which is how the trio ended up there. Nyanjii scolds her for being careless but Myamu sees no harm in it because everything was fine. She accuses him of using magic the same way she does, but he explains how it's different as he is someone who studied magic for a long time and has expertise in it. He then chastises her for always being neglectful, even when she was little, she never picked up her toys or made her bed. She also stole his food. At this rate, she won't be able to fully learn and utilize her magic if she's so willing to gloss over things she should take responsibility for. Myamu accuses Nyanjii of hating her and she runs out, in her hurry knocking over some books. Matsuri runs after her while Lemon becomes uncomfortable.
Hina and Amane come to the party location to find a mess waiting for them, along with Carron. Carron assures them that everything will be fine when suddenly, an irate Miruki pops out of a bush wondering what happened. She grumpily complains until Amane approaches to lend her assistance, quickly causing a change of heart. She steps out and shyly invites them to join her in getting some bubble tea in the meantime, but Hina suggests they use this free period to get some training done. Miruki doesn't want to but she finds it hard to resist her "prince".
Meanwhile, Toma asks Hughie if he knows anything about what happened. But he keeps his answers vague.
Back at Nyanjii's place Lemon helps him pick up some books, but he becomes defensive over one in particular. She recalls this to a scenerio from one of her games and realizes the "event flag" that can be triggered from it, so she gets up to ask him if he has ever played Dracula's Quest before. He is caught off-guard but she manages to get past him and grab the book, then she runs outside before he can stop her.
Myamu throws rocks at a nearby tree as she complains, but when Matsuri shows up she attempts to run away. She grabs Myamu and tries to convince her to come back, saying that what she thinks is untrue- he doesn't get angry with her because of hate, but love. Matsuri explains that while Myamu is unpredictable she always surprises her, which is why she cares about her so much. Myamu is unsure when suddenly, Lemon shows up with the book. She hands it over after explaining what happened as she believes it can help Myamu, but all she finds are pictures of Matsuri inside from various performances, some of which also include Myamu doing her part. Lemon suggests that this means that he is her "stan". While it might not seem like it he has always been supporting Myamu.
It is then Matsuri recalls the macaron Myamu tried earlier, leading her to remember a fond memory from childhood in which he bought her some for the first time for doing so well in class. She loved them so much that they became a treat whenever she did well. Myamu is touched to realize Nyanjii never forgot how much she loves them, but that doesn't change the fact the batch he made was gross. Matsuri assures her that this is simply because he was practicing. Macaron can be really hard to make. Lemon also believes Myamu may be his fan as well, but she denies it. Matsuri then suggests they put on a performance in order to express their feelings, just as Nyanjii catches up to them to demand Lemon return his book. Myamu excitedly invites him to join them back in the earlthy realm.
The girls are training as they see the portal appear above Prism Stone. Toma and Hughie also spot it and Hughie ditches his cloak, grabbing Toma's wrist to pull him inside to witness their greatest performance yet.
Everyone finds a spot inside the performance hall, with a curious Nyanjii and confident Hughie. Matsuri manages to initiate a call-and-response with the audience and goes on to perform. The performance goes splendidly and Matsuri earns a new Ensemble card, then in a surprising event, the fairy appear with baskets full of macaron for everyone. Nyanjii is surprised but very happy, while Hughie teases Toma after complimenting Matsuri.
In another room Nyanjii compliments the performance and the delicious macaron. Myamu stubbornly refuses to come out from behind Matsuri, leaving her to express how Myamu truly feels. Nyanjii warns her that from now on her journey will only get together and asks if she can keep going knowing that. She assures him that she will, along with Matsuri, and he wishes her to do well. But he warns her to remain diligent, leading Myamu to suggest he does the same thing with those macarons he made. This earns her a hit on the head while Matsuri is glad they were able to express themselves. The girls head outside while wondering if the others left until they spot Amane observing the scenery before her. The image is admirable until they find Miruki blissfully passed out in her arms, causing them to panic while wondering what happened.
