Summary[]

Myamu declares that she will be Hina's partner instead of Matsuri's. Matsuri is shocked by this sudden announcement that she and Myamu will no longer be doing Primagi together, but she starts to wonder if teaming up with Hina is the best chance Myamu has of achieving her dream of being at the top of Primagi. On the other hand, Myamu regretted her decision to leave Matsuri, even though she said it on the spur of the moment. The two shared their feelings to each other. With the help of Jennifer, the Primagi of her dreams, the two decide to perform in Primagi together again, but during the live performance, Myamu's magic all of a sudden goes out of control!

Plot[]

Everyone is in disbelief over Myamu's request to Hina, including her grandfather. He becomes concerned seeing a red sphere floating near her. Initially, Chimumu isn't worried because he really doesn't think Hina would abandon him- until she agrees to partner up with Myamu. Because they both share the same dream she is convinced they could be a great duo; but in order to do this, Matsuri and Myamu's own partnership must officially be dissolved at Prism Stone. Myamu embraces Matsuri just then, to grab the book off of her before running to the shop. Matsuri can hardly keep up, and before she can go inside, she grabs onto the book refusing to let Myamu go that easily. She finds it hard to convey her feelings as Hina arrives, along with Myamu's grandfather. In a panic, Myamu transforms and flies away refusing to speak to him or get punished. He takes this as a sign that she is aware of her behavior.

While reflecting on this event, Myamu is confronted by the blue wolf again. She makes a hasty landing and he asks what happened, and she expresses her desire to team up with someone who will surely lead her to great things. He brings up Chimumu, but she isn't worried over their bond getting in the way, because she knows Hina would choose her due to her strength. He attempts to tell her that strength alone isn't enough to succeed when it comes to Primagi.

Meanwhile, at Matsuri's home Myamu's grandfather overlooks the candy they make and sell. They discuss how lively things have become with Myamu around, and he explains that he has been raising her since she was little. Seeing Matsuri standing alone outside with the book, he joins her and they begin to talk about Myamu. She explains that while Myamu can be troublesome, every time she hears her say that she wants to win the Primagi competition it brings her great joy and warmth, like the feeling she gets when attending the festival. But she is painfully aware that her song and dance is lacking, she belongs in a crowd then up on stage; which is why she decided it would be better to support Myamu's dream rather than argue.

Myamu's grandfather believes she greatly cares about her and he goes on to bring up how lonely she was growing up due to her overwhelming strength with magic. The other children misunderstood her and would run away after something went wrong, leading Myamu to grumpily accuse them of being jealous of her. Realizing he is speaking so much, he apologizes for reminiscing like that. However, this causes Matsuri to recall a memory from her own youth, when she met a kitten in the woods one day after getting lost. It began to rain and the blue kitten led her to safety, and when she started to cry it licked her cheeks to calm her down. She felt comfortable enough to fall asleep, and when Touma managed to locate her, the kitten was gone. She was hoping that they would meet again one day, Myamu really reminds her of that kitten. Even though it had saddened eyes it tried to remain brave, and it was very cute.

Matsuri changes for bed -Myamu's things remain untouched on the floor- and she steps outside again. She can't sleep and she has decided to look through their book when Touma steps out onto his balcony next door. He attempts to encourage her to speak honestly to Myamu about her feelings, even if it may be awkward, because they make great partners. Initially, Matsuri thinks he is just saying this because they're friends, but he explains that when watching them the girls seem like they have a lot of fun. Matsuri thinks about her short time performing and the time she's spent with Myamu and agrees, and she decides that this is something important that she can't let go of so easily.

The following morning Hina is out for an early jog. Myamu flies along her on her broom and offers to assist her using magic and she impresses her, but Chimumu remains stubborn and refuses to leave her side. Suddenly, a suction-cup arrow is thrown at Hina and Myamu hears her grandpa's voice. She begins to panic when they find a challenge has been tied to the arrow, and read over the letter saying that she will be punished if she doesn't show up at Prism Stone once school ends.

Hina is forced to drag Myamu back to the shop after school, where they find Matsuri awaiting them. Myamu is unimpressed and she asks about her Grandpa, as she doesn't see him anywhere, and Matsuri attempts to speak to her. She's taken aback when Myamu refuses to apologize, and claim its her own fault for being so easily discouraged after watching Hina perform. She can't do her best with a partner like that, and besides, it's not like she had a dream to begin with. Unlike her, and she refuses to let hers go to waste. This angers Matsuri, and they start to bicker. She accuses Myamu of being afraid, when she saw Hina perform she chose to run away instead of staying by her side to keep going. She took the cowardly way out of the situation by trying to partner with Hina. Matsuri expresses that she loves Primagi more than anything, which is why she frequently worries whether or not she deserves to stand on stage. But when she's with Myamu and performs with her, nothing else matters. She asks Myamu to continue being her partner, but she refuses and runs inside. Matsuri follows after her to find her huddled in the hall with Matsurida nearby, wondering what happened. Matsuri attempts to talk to her but Myamu isn't sure how to respond.

As Hina is coming in to join them, everyone is shocked when Jennifer appears; she even lets Matsuri touch her cheek to confirm she is really there. She heard about what happened between and wanted to see if she could help encourage the girls. By combining both forms of magic -from an Earthly and a Treasured- a miracle can be created; she also intended on giving them an ensemble card if they were able to work out their differences. Myamu remains stubborn but Matsuri still wants to be with her, and Myamu becomes enticed by the card wondering its rarity. As Chimumu confirms it is very special Jennifer gently pushes him aside and asks that they consider doing this for her. The girls are given some time to think, and when everything is said and done Matsuri changes into her chosen outfit to go on stage.

While this goes on, Hina joins Jennifer in the balcony seats of the performance hall and some fans spot them from nearby. They wonder why both of them would show up to see Matsuri perform as Touma goes on to assure Myamu's grandpa that things will be fine soon enough.

Myamu stands at her spot backstage with contempt. She doesn't understand why Matsuri would want to remain by her side after what happened- she doesn't see the point when she will abandon her one day. She watches as Matsuri -entirely dedicated to show Myamu her true feelings- prepares to start her performance, and when her cue arrives mid-way through the song she is about to use magic when she recalls her past, when the children ran away from her, causing her to choke. She starts to lose control of her magic and panics as the device sparks. The audience becomes frightened and in her breakdown, Myamu transforms into a large, monstrous cat. Her grandpa attempts to save her but Touma holds him back, suggesting they leave this to Matsuri. Myamu weeps as she is unable to stop herself, but to her alarm Matsuri isn't frightened or angry like she expected her to be. Matsuri warmly smiles and approaches Myamu, and she embraces her as she begins to cry. Her tears leak onto the cat hair ornament Matsuri wears and it begins to glow as Matsuri rubs her nose. She promises Myamu that she wont leave her anytime soon, and asks that they compete again. Myamu returns to normal and magic fills the room as they embrace, and with that the performance resumes. Myamu is able to use her magic as normal and they wow the audience with the remainder of the performance. Matsuri gains another ensemble for doing so well.

At Prism Stone, Myamu complains as she attempts to hide her tears from Matsuri. She doesn't like this new sensation, the warmth she feels being around Matsuri, but this makes Matsuri very happy. Myamu tackles her and begins to cry, leaving her to comfort her until her Grandpa arrives again to compliment their performance. He wishes Myamu good luck and takes off. Matsuri is delighted when Hina hands over the card Jennifer promised them earlier. Matsuri fawns over it and after they put it away, she goes on to ask Hina if she could be her Apprentice. Myamu and Chimumu bicker but Hina is impressed with her enthusiasm and agrees, bringing up she has a photo-shoot the next day. She goes on to mention someone else will be attending it with her too, but she can't remember who.

Elsewhere, Miruki has been finishing her facial. She pulls off the mask and mentions how excited she is for tomorrow, where she will blow everyone away with her cuteness.
