PriPara (プリパラ PuriPara) (alternatively written as Pripara) is the successor of Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live, and the first spin-off of the Pretty Series to not be part of the Pretty Rhythm series. It premiered in Japan on July 5, 2014 and ended on March 28, 2017.
Story[]
Season 1
One day, a group of young girls receive an invitation. It’s an admission ticket to “PriPara”, where the dreams and aspirations of girls who are into fashion, dance, and music flourish. Every day, live performances are held where people compete in singing, dancing, and fashion sense, and these performances are broadcast to the world via TV and the internet. Nowadays, top idols are born from this PriPara. The main protagonist, Laala, is also very interested in PriPara, as are her friends. But at her school, the elementary students aren’t permitted to participate in PriPara… but then something happens, and she enters PriPara for the very first time, and she ends up going to a live concert! What’s going to happen in Laala’s PriPara debut!?
Season 2
“PriPara” is an idol theme park where anyone can become an idol. The main protagonist, Laala Manaka, and her teammates, Mirei and Sophy, are active as the idol team “SoLaMi♡SMILE”, whose popularity is skyrocketing there. It’s been a while since a new zone in PriPara opened up! When the fated five-member team, guided by their charm, performs their best live performance as the “Dream Theater”, the “PriPara Dream Parade”, which is the biggest event in PriPara, will be held. The PriPara idols are interest in this new event! Who will be the five destined idols? Which team will give the best live performance in the “Dream Theater”? The new season of the idol theme park “PriPara” is finally here, bringing along some new idols!
Season 3
One day, a huge UFO appears in the sky above Parajuku’s PriPara,
And sparkling jewels beginning raining on the town.
The Divine Idol Grand Prix is set to be held in Parajuku’s PriPara,
And the PriPara system has been updated along with that.
At the same time, Laala encounters a mysterious baby who falls from the sky.
The baby called Laala her mama and wouldn’t let her go.
