Performance Microphones are an important device the idols of PriPara use. Their design is based on the individual idol or their brand. Depending on the circumstances, idols could obtain the Cyalume Dream Mic or the Idol Time Mic. They can be used with Cyalume Charms, Jewels, or a harp given by Falala・A・Larm.

Design[]

In season 1 the microphones were colored and decorated to match their users or brand.

In season 2 they gained wing designs and a slot for the cyalume charm. In season 3, they are called Cyalume Jewel Mics, and the wings were exchanged for gold detail, and accents of hearts and pearls.

In season 4, the microphones changed into the Idol Time Mic, which resembled a wing with glowing accents and a heart slot for Jewels to be inserted.

Trivia[]

Dorothy and Reona were the first characters shown using the same mic, but in different colors.
Sion was the first idol in season 1 whose mouth piece included a unique feature, these being tiny devil horns.
Cosmo and Meganee were the first characters to share the same microphone design that was not modified by color, followed by Falulu and Gaaruru.
With the original mic, the top sphere is the only part of the microphone that changes during an idol's performance.
Mirei, Sophy, and Reona hold their mics the same way, and so does Laala and Dorothy.
- Laala and Sophy also share another way of holding her mic with Sion, Falulu, Hibiki, Fuwari, and Ajimi.
Faruru and Gaaruru's Microphone is the only one to be available as an item in the arcade game.
Out of the original six Idols, in Season 2, Reona and Dorothy's mics are the only ones without a heart ornament.
Aroma, Ajimi, and Pepper's microphones are the only ones with tails.
For a promotional event, Miku Hatsune had her own Idol Time Mic.
The Idol Time Mic has gold detail, but in the merchandise they were silver.
- Falala and Garara's mic also lacks the gold, while Shuka's has light blue, and Yui's upgraded mic gains metallic pink detail.
Falala's Mic is the first Idol Time Mic to have a colored base. Hers is turquoise while everyone else has white.
