Shijimi (志々美) - Shi (志) means "intention", "resolve", or "hopes" while mi (美) means "beautiful". Like the other members of Prizmmy☆, Karin's last name, when written in different kanji, is the name of a butterfly, and Shijimi (灰蝶科) is the Japanese name for Lycaenidae butterfly.
Karin (かりん) is a name that originates from the Swedish language, meaning "pure".
