Auru Omega (御芽河あうる Omega Auru) is one of the main characters of Waccha Primagi!. She knows a great deal about mechanics and is considered a genius because of this. Initially, her true appearance was a mystery, and it was unknown if she was a Primagista. Her preferred brand is ELECTRO REMIX.
Appearance
Auru's Normal Appearance
Auru appears a young girl with round red eyes and short and messy turquoise hair. Her bangs are straight-cut.
As a Primagista, Auru's hair grows a little more and becomes less messy. She gains lime green streaks and a blue and green lock of hair that is slightly longer than the rest of her hair. She wears lime green eye makeup in the shape of a circle, and her left facial cheek has an orange checker pattern.
Personality
As a mechanical genius, Auru greatly values efficiency and research data, and as a result, her words and decisions may come off as cold or blunt.
Relationships
Meganee
Meganee is an artificial intelligence created by Auru when she was younger. Auru had created Meganee for the purpose of creating a device that would absorb waccha and transform it into usable energy, which is something her father, Achihiko, had desired. Although Meganee started out as an AI that was supposed to be incapable of sympathy or emotions, the waccha she has gathered from Auru allowed for her to gain those emotions. Auru originally only thought of Meganee as an AI purely running through algorithmic patterns and data, claiming that she might as well as be alone; however, after Matsuri pointed out how well Meganee knows Auru, this made Auru realize that Meganee has been developing sympathy and emotions. This realization has allowed the two to grow closer to one another, which resulted in the birth of Bolt, the Flash Elemental.

Matsuri Hibino
Before they formally met, Auru merely spectated some of Matsuri's performances to try and analyze Matsuri. After meeting and talking with Matsuri, as well as performing for the first time, Auru became deeply interested in Matsuri for research purposes. However, as Auru spent more time around her, she began to see her as a friend, although she would not admit it. In episode 31, Auru was ordered to spy on Matsuri and Myamu, but she could not follow through with her task because of how heavy the guilt of spying on them was weighing down on her. The two form the Primagi Duo Techno Magical.

Because of Auru's straightforwardness and science-objective personality, Myamu tends to get easily annoyed by Auru. After Matsuri and Auru formed a duo, the two have their disagreements in a more friend-to-friend manner.
Etymology
Omega (御芽河) - O (御) means "honorable", me (芽) means "bud" or "sprout", and ga (河) means "river". Her name also refers to the last letter of the Greek alphabet, omega (Ω).
Auru (あうる) has no clear meaning. It may hint at the English word for "owl" (アウル), as it is similar to the Japanese rendition of the word (albeit written in Hiragana instead of Katakana).
