Aira Harune (春音あいら Harune Aira) is the main protagonist of Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream as well as the very first protagonist of the Pretty Series. She is a prism star whose preferred brand is lovely, and she is a part of the unit MARs. Her catchphrase is "Happy lucky!" (ハピラキ！).
Appearance[]
She has round red eyes and shoulder length hair with two locks hanging around the front. She is either seen wearing her down or in a side ponytail. With her hair down, her bangs are straight-cut. With her hair tied up, her bangs are swept to the side with a lock of hair left untied.
Personality[]
Aira is a highly energetic girl who is super clumsy and very passionate when it comes to clothing. She is noted to have a keen eye for clothing coordination, and is always ready to jump at the opportunity to Pretty Remake, which is what she calls her finished coordination. Whenever she sees something interesting, her eyes glimmer and she becomes filled with excitement. At the start, Aira was a bit withdrawn and did not think highly of her own abilities, but seeing how others persevere encouraged her to do the same.

Etymology[]
Harune (春音) - Haru (春) means "spring" while ne (音) means "sound".
Aira (あいら) - For being written in hiragana, there is no specific relation to her name. Aira's name may come from Japanese words "Ai rashī," which means "lovely" or "beautiful." Her name may also be a pun on the Japanese translation of the words "I love you" (Ai rabu yū).

- She is the second character of the Pretty Series to have a parallel version of herself, that being Aira Nanahoshi from Kiratto Pri☆Chan.
